Pınar Erdem is the Partner at Erdem Attorney Partnership. Pınar Erdem provides consultancy services to local and international organizations on matters related to human rights law and humanitarian law, with a specific focus on gender-based violence, conflict-related sexual violence, LGBTI rights, rights of refugees and asylum seekers and children’s rights.
As an associate at Erdem Attorney Partnership, Pınar Erdem also provides legal services on international child abduction, litigation and dispute resolution and law of foreigners and citizenship law.
Pınar Erdem graduated from KOÇ University Faculty of Law in 2014. In 2018, she earned her LL.M. degree from UCLA School of Law with a dual concentration in International and Comparative Law and Law and Sexuality.
While at UCLA, she worked for All Survivors Project, where she conducted research on conflict-related sexual violence against men and boys in Turkey and Syria. Pınar Erdem earned the Promise Institute for Human Rights Award and worked at Human Rights Watch’s New York office, as a fellow of the LGBT Rights Program between 2018-2020. At HRW she led a research project on conflict-related sexual violence and access to health care for survivors of sexual violence in the Middle East.
